Why people choose us

  • Certified techniciansFactory training, factory diagnostics and current Lexus module software — on a bench with more than 100 years of combined Lexus experience.
  • Genuine OEM partsCrafted for your Lexus and backed by a 12-month unlimited-mileage parts warranty when installed here.
  • Book online in under a minuteLook your vehicle up by make and model, license plate or VIN. A complimentary loaner is available with eligible work — request it on the appointment.

Before you book, a few things worth mentioning to the advisor: if you tow to Lake Grapevine, say so — it changes the service interval. If you need a loaner or the shuttle, request it on the appointment so one can be held. And if you're dropping before work, the service drive opens at 7:00 AM.

The comparison

Where you service a Lexus is really two decisions

First, whether to use a Lexus-certified service center at all. Then, which one. Both tables describe capability, not opinion — and where the honest answer is that it depends on the store, that is what the column says.

Decision one

Certified service center, or an independent shop, quick-lube or tire chain?

A capability difference, not a service-quality opinion. Good independent technicians exist. Factory tooling, factory software and factory parts coverage are a separate matter.

Federal law protects your right to have routine maintenance performed wherever you choose without voiding the factory warranty. The columns describe capability and coverage, not eligibility.

Decision two

Which Lexus-certified service center?

Every Lexus dealer works to the same franchise standard, so the real differences are capacity, quality systems and how a visit is run. Where a capability is set store by store, the right column says so.

Built around how Grapevine actually drives

Six ways owners here fit service into a real day

Every one of these starts from a place on the map. Pick the one that looks like your week.

School run

After drop-off, before the workday

The service drive opens at 7:00 AM, which lands after the GCISD morning bell and before most offices start. Drop the car, take a loaner, keep the day intact.

  • Grapevine High School — Mustang Drive
  • Grapevine Middle — Pony Parkway
  • Cannon, Silver Lake, Timberline elementaries
  • Colleyville Heritage & Cross Timbers, via 26 or 114

Flying out

Leave it with us, catch your flight

We are on the north side of DFW International. Drop off on your way to the terminal and pick up a serviced, washed vehicle when you land.

  • DFW International — north entry off 114
  • TEXRail runs to DFW Airport Terminal B
  • Grapevine/Main Street Station — 815 S Main St
  • Ask your advisor about longer drop-offs

Working local

A shuttle back to the office

Grapevine's largest employers sit within the same few miles of 114 and 121. The complimentary shuttle runs to and from home or work.

  • GameStop corporate campus
  • Kubota North American headquarters
  • Paycom · Baylor Scott & White Grapevine
  • Gaylord Texan · Great Wolf Lodge · Bass Pro

Waiting it out

Grapevine is a good place to kill two hours

Stay in the lounge with Wi-Fi and a workstation, or step out. A complimentary wash is done by the time you're back.

  • Historic Downtown Grapevine, Main Street
  • Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park, 411 Ball St
  • Grapevine Mills — Meow Wolf, LEGOLAND Discovery, SEA LIFE
  • Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Cotton Belt Depot

Lake & tow

If you pull a boat to Lake Grapevine

Towing changes wear on brakes, transmission fluid and tires well before the mileage on the maintenance sticker suggests. Tell your advisor you tow.

  • Oak Grove & Meadowmere Park boat ramps
  • Silver Lake Marina · Northshore Trail
  • GX and LX tow-package inspection
  • Trailer wiring and hitch checks

Texas seasons

Heat, hail and the 114 construction zone

North Texas is hard on batteries and cabin air, and spring storms are a real risk between DFW and Denton County.

  • Battery load testing before August
  • Cabin filters and AC performance checks
  • Hail-season paint and glass inspection
  • Emissions testing still applies in Tarrant County

Questions Grapevine owners actually ask

Lexus service questions, answered locally

Hours, the airport, the shuttle, towing to the lake, Tarrant County emissions and what certified service does and doesn't cover.

Getting here & timing

What time does the Grapevine service drive open, and are you open on Mondays?

The service and parts departments at Park Place Lexus Grapevine, 901 E State Hwy 114, open at 7:00 AM Tuesday through Friday and close at 6:00 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sunday and Monday are closed for service and parts.

The 7:00 AM open is the practical detail: it lands after the GCISD morning bell and before most North Texas offices start, so a drop-off doesn't cost you a workday.

I drop my kids at Grapevine High School on Mustang Drive. Can I come straight over?

Yes — that's the most common morning we see. Grapevine High School sits on Mustang Drive north of the dealership, and Grapevine Middle School is on Pony Parkway; both put you back on the 114 corridor within a few minutes of the last bell. The service drive is already open at 7:00 AM, so you can hand over the keys, take a complimentary loaner if your work qualifies, and be at your desk on time.

If you'd rather wait, the client lounge has Wi-Fi and a computer workstation, plus a separate children's play area — which is the difference between a manageable morning and a miserable one on a GCISD early-release day.

Is it worth driving over from Colleyville, Southlake or Westlake?

All three are a straight shot: Colleyville comes up SH-26 or Pool Road, Southlake and Westlake come east on 114, and none of it requires crossing the metroplex. Colleyville Heritage High School, Cross Timbers Middle and Heritage Middle are all inside that same catchment.

Here's the honest version: if another Lexus-certified store is closer to your driveway, that is a real advantage and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What you're driving here for is capacity — over 50 service bays on one campus — a technician bench with more than 100 years of combined Lexus experience, and an audited quality system. Sometimes the closer shop is the right answer. Often the one that can see you Thursday instead of the following Tuesday is.

Where exactly are you on Highway 114?

901 E State Hwy 114, Grapevine, TX 76051 — on the east side of Grapevine along the 114 frontage, between Historic Downtown Grapevine and the north side of DFW International Airport, in Tarrant County. Open directions in Google Maps, or call the service drive at (844) 875-7421 and we'll talk you in from whichever direction you're coming.

DFW Airport & travel

Can I leave my Lexus for service while I fly out of DFW?

This is a favorite of the corporate travelers in this ZIP code. We're on the north side of DFW International off State Highway 114, so a service drop-off is on the way to the terminal rather than a detour from it. Leave the vehicle for scheduled maintenance, get to your gate, and come back to a serviced and washed car.

If your trip runs more than a day or two, mention it when you book so your advisor can plan the drop-off and pickup around your flight times.

Can I get to my terminal on TEXRail instead of a rideshare?

You can. Trinity Metro's TEXRail line stops at Grapevine/Main Street Station at 815 S Main Street in Historic Downtown Grapevine and runs to DFW Airport Terminal B, with DFW Airport North as the stop in between. From Terminal B you can reach the other terminals on Skylink.

Two practical notes. Our complimentary shuttle runs locally, to and from home or work — treat the airport as a rideshare or TEXRail trip rather than a shuttle route. And if you're flying out of Terminal A, C, D or E, budget the Skylink connection.

Working the 114 corridor

I work in Grapevine. Can you get me back to the office?

Yes — a complimentary shuttle runs to and from the dealership, and Grapevine's largest employers are clustered within the same few miles of the 114 and 121 interchange: the GameStop corporate campus, Kubota's North American headquarters, Paycom, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, and the hospitality corridor around the Gaylord Texan, Great Wolf Lodge and Bass Pro Shops. DFW International itself employs well over a thousand people on the other side of the fence.

The shuttle covers a local service area, so give your address when you book and we'll confirm it's inside the radius.

I commute 114 from Westlake or Trophy Club. When's the best time to drop off?

Eastbound 114 in the morning and westbound in the evening are the pressure points, and the airport traffic doesn't help either one. The 7:00 AM service open exists for exactly this — arriving at 7:00 puts you ahead of the worst of it and gets your vehicle into a bay before the day's queue forms, which usually means an earlier promise time.

If your afternoon is flexible instead, mid-morning after 9:30 is the calmer window on the drive.

Waiting nearby

I'd rather wait. What's near the dealership?

The client lounge has complimentary Wi-Fi and a computer workstation if you're working, and a separate children's play area if you're not alone. If you'd rather step out:

  • Historic Downtown Grapevine — Main Street, for coffee, lunch and the tasting rooms, plus the Grapevine Vintage Railroad at the Cotton Belt Depot.
  • Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park, 411 Ball Street — free, quiet, and a genuinely pleasant hour.
  • Grapevine Mills — Meow Wolf Grapevine, LEGOLAND Discovery Center and SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium, which is the right call if service is running long and you have kids with you.
  • Lake Grapevine — Oak Grove and Meadowmere Park if the weather's cooperating.

Your vehicle gets a complimentary wash either way, so you're not coming back to a dusty car.

Is there anything for kids while I wait?

There's a separate children's play area in the client lounge, which is a real distinction — a lot of service departments have a television and a bowl of mints. For a longer visit, Grapevine Mills is close enough to make the wait feel like an outing: Meow Wolf Grapevine, LEGOLAND Discovery Center and SEA LIFE Grapevine are all there.

Lake Grapevine, towing & North Texas conditions

I tow a boat to Lake Grapevine. Does that change my service schedule?

It does, and it's the single most under-reported thing owners here fail to mention at the service desk. Towing loads the brakes, the transmission and the cooling system harder than the mileage on your maintenance reminder assumes — particularly on the ramps at Oak Grove Park and Meadowmere Park, and worse in August. If you tow with a GX, LX or a hitch-equipped RX, say so when you book.

What that changes in practice: transmission fluid condition gets looked at sooner, brake pad and rotor measurements matter more than a visual glance, and tire wear patterns and load ratings are worth checking against what you're actually pulling. Ask your advisor to include the trailer wiring and hitch in the inspection while the vehicle is here.

What does a North Texas summer do to my Lexus?

Heat is the local villain. Sustained 100-degree days shorten battery life well before the warranty implies, push the AC system to its limit, and cook cabin air filters faster than a milder climate would. The practical local advice: have the battery load tested in late spring rather than discovering it in a Grapevine Mills parking lot in August, and get cabin filters and AC performance checked before you need them.

Spring is the other one. Hail between DFW and Denton County is a routine risk, not a freak event — if you take a hit, get the glass and paint looked at promptly, because a chipped windshield on a Lexus with a forward camera is a recalibration job, not just a glass job.

Texas dropped safety inspections. Do I still need anything to register in Tarrant County?

Yes — emissions testing. House Bill 3297 ended the annual safety inspection requirement for non-commercial vehicles on January 1, 2025, and replaced the revenue with an inspection program replacement fee collected at registration. But emissions testing is still required in Tarrant County, along with Dallas, Denton, Collin, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker and Rockwall — which covers essentially every Lexus owner in this market.

Model-year exemption windows and fee amounts do change, so check the current requirements with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas DMV, and ask your advisor whether testing can be handled during your visit.

Certified service, warranty & the honest answers

Do I have to service my Lexus at a Lexus dealership to keep my warranty?

No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act you can have routine maintenance performed anywhere you like without voiding your Lexus factory warranty, as long as the work is done correctly, on schedule, and you keep the records. We'd rather tell you that plainly than let you believe otherwise.

What a Lexus-certified service center adds is capability, not eligibility: factory diagnostic equipment, current technical service bulletins and module software, genuine Lexus parts carrying a 12-month unlimited-mileage warranty, open recalls completed at no charge, and a service history documented to your VIN instead of a folder of receipts. Warranty repairs and all recall work can only be performed by a franchised Lexus dealer.

What makes one Lexus dealership's service department different from another's?

Every Lexus dealer works to the same franchise standard, so the differences are capacity, quality systems and how the visit is run. Park Place Lexus Grapevine operates over 50 service bays on one campus, employs Lexus-certified master technicians with more than 100 years of combined experience, and was the first automotive dealership in the United States to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award — a Presidential award for organizational performance excellence, audited rather than self-reported. It has also been recognized in the Elite of Lexus program.

Can I get a loaner while my Lexus is in for service?

Yes — a complimentary loaner vehicle is available with eligible service work, and a complimentary shuttle runs to and from the dealership. Request it when you book so one can be held for your appointment, and your advisor can confirm whether the work on your repair order qualifies. Every visit also includes a complimentary vehicle wash.

Do you service Lexus hybrids?

Yes. Hybrid service is handled by technicians trained on high-voltage systems, and the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles under LexusCare. Many independent shops decline high-voltage work altogether, and none of them can perform hybrid warranty repairs. With the number of RX, NX and TX hybrids on the road in this market, it's worth knowing where yours can actually be worked on.

Why does driver-assist recalibration keep coming up?

Because it's the failure most owners never hear about. Lexus Safety System+ relies on a forward camera and radar aimed within a tight tolerance. Replace a windshield after a North Texas hailstorm, or a bumper cover after a parking-garage scrape, and those sensors can end up looking a fraction of a degree off — enough for pre-collision braking or lane tracing to misjudge the road. Recalibration needs factory targets, floor space and Lexus software, and it is done to Lexus specification here.

Are genuine Lexus parts worth the difference?

Two concrete reasons they usually are. Coverage: genuine Lexus parts carry a 12-month, unlimited-mileage warranty honored at Lexus dealers nationwide, where aftermarket coverage is typically mileage-capped and honored only by the shop that installed it. And fit: components on a modern Lexus are calibrated to work as a system, so a part that is merely close in specification can change how sensors, software and adjacent components behave.

On price, we benchmark — competitive pricing based on routinely checking other dealerships — so certified service isn't a premium you pay without a reference point.
