2025 Lexus NX Air Filter in Grapevine, TX

The 2025 Lexus NX engine air filter sits in a rectangular airbox in the engine bay, typically on the driver’s side near the intake duct.

This placement lets you access the filter by releasing the airbox clips and lifting the cover. On the 2.5L inline-4 in the 2025 Lexus NX, the intake tract routes fresh air through this filter before it reaches the throttle body. For a clean, sealed fit that protects the mass airflow sensor, Park Place Lexus Grapevine installs Lexus Genuine air filters.

• Engine: 2.5L inline-4 (engine code 4INAG2.5)

The 2025 Lexus NX cabin air filter is typically located behind the glove box within the HVAC housing.

Access usually requires lowering or removing the glove box to reach the rectangular cabin filter tray. This filter screens pollen, dust, and road debris before air enters the passenger compartment. Park Place Lexus Grapevine installs Lexus Genuine cabin filters for proper fitment and sealing, helping maintain HVAC performance and interior air quality in North Texas.

The engine air filter protects the 2.5L engine’s intake, while the cabin air filter cleans the air entering the HVAC for passengers.

On the 2025 Lexus NX, the engine filter sits in the under-hood airbox to keep dirt from reaching the throttle body and cylinders. The cabin filter, positioned behind the glove box, traps pollen and dust to help maintain interior air quality. Each filter serves a distinct system; both should be inspected regularly for dust loading common around Dallas–Fort Worth.

• Engine filter: intake protection and performance consistency
• Cabin filter: HVAC airflow quality and odor reduction
• Use Lexus Genuine Parts for proper fit and seal

Common signs include reduced power, lower fuel economy, and a rough idle for the engine; weak HVAC airflow and musty odors for the cabin.

On a 2025 Lexus NX, a heavily loaded engine filter can starve the 2.5L inline-4 of air, making acceleration feel sluggish. A clogged cabin filter restricts blower output and may create a stale smell from trapped debris. If you notice these symptoms around Grapevine, schedule an inspection to avoid strain on the engine and HVAC.

• Engine: sluggish response, decreased MPG, uneven idle

The 2025 Lexus NX uses an engine air filter in the under-hood airbox to protect its 2.5L inline-4 (engine code 4INAG2.5) intake system, and a cabin air filter positioned behind the glove box to clean HVAC intake air. Lexus recommends using Lexus Genuine (OEM) filters for proper fit, media density, and sealing surfaces that help preserve MAF sensor readings and blower performance.
