Engine oil can lose its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris before it appears dirty. That is why oil service should be guided by mileage and time rather than appearance alone. Signs that the 2023 Lexus NX 350 may be due include an illuminated oil-change reminder, mileage beyond the previous service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note during startup. Drivers can schedule service with Park Place Lexus Grapevine for the oil and filter replacement to be completed and logged in the vehicle’s history.
