2022 Lexus NX 350h Air Filter in Grapevine, TX

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h engine air filter sits in a sealed airbox in the engine bay, while the cabin filter is positioned behind the glove box.

This hybrid’s 2.5L inline-4 draws intake air through the airbox before reaching the throttle body, so a clean element is essential. The cabin filter lives in a pull-out tray behind the glove box for HVAC air. Visit Park Place Lexus Grapevine in Grapevine, TX for access-friendly service and OEM-spec replacements.

• Engine air filter: sealed airbox, top-side access in engine bay
• Cabin air filter: behind glove box in the HVAC housing
• Technicians check housing seals and clips during service

The engine air filter protects the 2.5L inline-4 intake, while the cabin air filter cleans the HVAC air you breathe inside the 2022 Lexus NX 350h.

Engine filters defend the combustion system from dust and debris that can affect power and efficiency. Cabin filters capture pollen and particulates so the interior air stays cleaner. Both are routine-maintenance items and can be inspected during a single appointment at Park Place Lexus Grapevine.

• Engine filter: performance and longevity of the powertrain
• Cabin filter: interior air quality and HVAC performance
• Separate locations, different media and airflow paths

Common signs include reduced power, lower MPG, or rough idle (engine) and weak airflow or musty odors (cabin) on a 2022 Lexus NX 350h.

When the engine filter is restricted, the hybrids 2.5L inline-4 may feel flat under acceleration. A dirty cabin filter can strain the blower motor and lessen A/C or heat output. Our Grapevine service team can inspect both filters, the intake path, and related seals during a single visit.

• Engine: sluggish response, decreased fuel economy, uneven idle
• Cabin: reduced airflow, dustier vents, odor when HVAC starts
• Visual check for darkened, debris-laden filter media

Yesthe 2022 Lexus NX 350h engine filter is typically DIY-accessible via the airbox, while the cabin filter may require glovebox panel removal.

Many owners can handle the basic engine airbox clips and fitment, but dealer service adds an intake-housing seal check and a quick MAF visual inspection. Cabin filters often need careful tab release to avoid scuffing trim. If you prefer a no-hassle visit, use our online tool to schedule service.

The 2022 Lexus NX 350h cabin air filter is located behind the glove box in the HVAC housing.

This placement allows straightforward access for inspection and replacement while protecting the evaporator and interior airflow. If you notice weak A/C or a dusty smell, its a fast check at Park Place Lexus Grapevine. We can pair a cabin filter swap with an engine filter inspection in one visit.

• Behind glove box with slide-out tray access
• Protects HVAC components and interior air quality
• Quick inspection during a single service appointment

A clean engine filter supports smooth power from the 2.5L inline-4, while a clean cabin filter preserves strong HVAC airflow and fresher interior air.

Restricted intake can dull throttle response and reduce efficiency, especially in stop-and-go driving. A clogged cabin filter forces the blower to work harder and can fog windows more easily. Our Grapevine service team checks both filters together to keep your hybrid responsive and comfortable.

• Engine filter health affects acceleration feel and MPG
• Cabin filter health affects airflow, odors, and defogging
• One appointment covers both inspections
