Keep receipts and service logs; having work performed by a Lexus-certified facility helps document compliance.

The correct oil is the OEM-spec grade listed in your owner’s manual, filled with Lexus-approved full synthetic.

Lexus engineers specify an exact viscosity and performance standard for the LC 500’s 5.0L V8 (engine code 8VNAG5.0). Using the factory-required full synthetic oil helps cold-start protection, high-RPM stability, and deposit control. Our team in Grapevine fills to Lexus specification and installs a Lexus filter, then documents the service for your records.

• Factory-specified viscosity and full synthetic formula
• Engine code reference: 8VNAG5.0 V8, naturally aspirated
• Service includes OEM filter and torque-to-spec drain hardware

Fill capacity should match the owner’s manual specification for the 5.0L V8; we fill precisely to the OEM mark.

Proper capacity is essential for the LC 500’s lubrication and cooling at 7,100 rpm. Rather than over- or under-filling, our Grapevine service team measures drain volume and fills to the Lexus dipstick and spec for accuracy. We then verify the level after warm-up and document the capacity used on your repair order.

• Capacity set by Lexus for the 5.0L V8 — verified warm
• Level confirmed after engine reaches operating temperature
• Exact quantity noted on your service invoice

Follow the OEM maintenance schedule in your Lexus owner’s manual for mileage and time-based intervals.

The correct interval for the LC 500 Convertible is defined by Lexus and can vary with driving conditions. North Texas heat, dust, and frequent short trips may call for more frequent service. We can tailor reminders to your driving profile and keep records current for warranty and resale.

• Interval set by Lexus — consult your owner’s manual
• Severe duty: heat, dust, and short trips may shorten intervals
• Digital records maintained at Park Place Lexus Grapevine

Full synthetic offers superior high-temp stability and cold-start protection versus blends or conventional.

The LC 500’s high-performance 5.0L V8 benefits from full synthetic oil to protect at high rpm and during Texas heat. Synthetic blends improve over conventional but don’t match full synthetic resistance to oxidation and shear. We install Lexus-approved full synthetic meeting the exact spec in your manual.

• Full synthetic = best protection for heat and high RPM
• Blends = mid-tier performance and value
• Conventional = not optimal for modern performance V8s
