Follow the Lexus maintenance schedule in your Warranty and Services Guide for the exact oil change interval.

The correct interval depends on your driving conditions and the oil specification used. Severe-duty patterns in North Texas—like frequent short trips, heavy traffic, dust, or towing—can require shorter intervals. We document every visit to help protect your service history and warranty eligibility.

• Service interval per Lexus Warranty and Services Guide
• Adjust for towing (up to 6,500 lbs) or stop-and-go driving
• Digital records maintained for proof of maintenance

Use engine oil that meets the Lexus OEM specification and viscosity listed in your owner’s manual.

Your 2022 Lexus GX 460 V8 (engine code 8VNAG4.6) requires oil that matches Lexus’s stated viscosity and performance standard. Using non‑spec oil can affect engine protection and warranty standing. We install OEM-spec oil and a Lexus filter and record the exact spec on your repair order for future reference.

• Viscosity and spec per Lexus owner’s manual
• OEM-spec oil and Lexus filter used at our shop
• Spec documented on your receipt for warranty records

Check the owner’s manual for the exact capacity listed for engine code 8VNAG4.6.

Oil capacity depends on the engine and filter used during service. For your 2022 Lexus GX 460, we reference Lexus documentation to fill to spec, verify on the dipstick, and update service records. Accurate capacity prevents overfill/underfill that can harm performance.

• Capacity verified against Lexus service data
• Level confirmed after engine warm-up and settle time
• Receipt notes capacity and oil specification used

Dealer service includes OEM-spec oil and a Lexus filter, plus a documented multi-point inspection.

Quick-lube shops may be cheaper for basic oil, but your 2022 Lexus GX 460 benefits from factory procedures, trained Lexus technicians, and parts that meet Lexus standards. Our inspection can catch wear from towing (up to 6,500 lbs) or off‑pavement use common with SUVs. You decide based on priorities, but we focus on long-term protection and documentation.

• OEM-spec fluids and Lexus filter installed
• Inspection, fluid top-offs, and torque checks included
• Service record supports warranty compliance

Warranty coverage requires following the OEM maintenance schedule and keeping service records.

If oil services are missed or undocumented, warranty claims can be at risk because compliance can’t be verified. Keep receipts and records showing the proper oil spec, filter, and interval for your 2022 Lexus GX 460. Warranty work typically requires a certified facility; we maintain digital records for your file.

• Follow Lexus schedule and retain receipts
• Use OEM-spec oil and filter to meet requirements
• Certified facility helps streamline warranty repairs

Full synthetic provides the most stable protection across temperatures; blends are mid‑range; conventional is mineral‑based.

Your owner’s manual lists the required specification for the 2022 Lexus GX 460 V8. Full synthetics resist oxidation and breakdown better during North Texas heat and towing, while conventional oil may need shorter intervals. We install oil that meets the Lexus spec noted in your documentation.

• Use the Lexus-specified viscosity and performance rating
• Consider severe-duty intervals for towing/stop‑and‑go
• Specification printed on your service receipt

Our oil service is designed for accuracy and documentation on every 2022 Lexus GX 460 visit. After verifying the VIN and engine code (8VNAG4.6), we drain the engine oil, replace the drain gasket as needed, and install a Lexus oil filter. We fill with oil that meets the exact Lexus specification and viscosity in your owner’s manual, then confirm the level after warm-up and settle time. A multi-point inspection checks tires, brakes, fluids, belts, and cooling system, and we top off under-hood fluids where applicable. Tire pressures are set to the door‑jamb placard. Your invoice notes oil spec, capacity used, and mileage-in/mileage-out for service history. If you’d like to align your visit with current offers, review our service specials. Ready to proceed? The 2022 Lexus GX 460 features a 4.6L V8 (engine code 8VNAG4.6) designed for durability and smooth power delivery. Always use engine oil that meets the Lexus OEM specification and viscosity listed in your owner’s manual; this ensures correct film strength, pumpability at start-up, and protection during high-load operation. Capacity varies by filter; we verify the exact fill against Lexus service data and confirm on the dipstick. Follow the maintenance schedule in your Warranty and Services Guide, and shorten intervals if your driving is severe (frequent short trips, heavy traffic, dust, or towing).
