What the service covers on the 2020 Lexus RX 450hThe oil change service for the 2020 Lexus RX 450h begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling it with the grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. A new oil filter is installed to support effective filtration, while the oil life monitor is reset so the vehicle can track the next maintenance interval. The visit also includes a check of the underhood fluid levels.

Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not look dirty. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, oil that appears dark or low on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup. The manufacturer’s interval for the 2020 Lexus RX 450h is every 10,000 miles for both the engine oil and oil filter.
