What the service covers on the 2018 Lexus RC FAn oil change for the 2018 Lexus RC F begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling the engine with the oil grade and capacity the manufacturer specifies. The service also includes a new oil filter, a reset of the oil-life monitor, and a check of the underhood fluid levels. These steps address more than the oil’s appearance: engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, so mileage and time guide service timing.

The 2018 Lexus RC F manufacturer’s published schedule calls for an oil filter replacement every 5,000 miles and an engine oil change every 5,000 miles. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup. Drivers can schedule service with Park Place Lexus Grapevine.
