Lexus generally recommends oil service about every 10,000 miles or 12 months for the 2017 Lexus ES 350 when using the specified synthetic oil.

Driving in North Texas heat, frequent stop-and-go, or dusty conditions may warrant shorter intervals for added protection. Our Grapevine team can tailor an interval based on your commute and mileage.

• Standard interval: ~10,000 miles/12 months (synthetic)
• Shorter intervals advised for severe duty (heat, dust, short trips)

The 2017 Lexus ES 350 is specified for full synthetic 0W‑20 motor oil.

This viscosity supports cold-start protection while maintaining stability under Texas heat. Our technicians use OEM-spec synthetic oil that meets Lexus requirements to help preserve performance and warranty compliance.

• Viscosity: 0W-20 full synthetic
• Meets Lexus OEM specifications
• Installed with a genuine-quality oil filter

The 2017 Lexus ES 350 typically holds about 6.4 quarts of oil with a filter change.

Capacity can vary slightly with drain time and filter choice, so our team fills to spec and verifies on the dipstick after warm-up. Using the correct amount helps the 3.5L V6 maintain proper lubrication and efficiency.

• Approximate capacity: ~6.4 quarts
• Verified by dipstick and temperature check
• Genuine-quality filter installed at each service

Yes—dealer service uses OEM-spec oil and filters installed by Lexus-trained technicians.

Quick-lube shops can be convenient, but our Grapevine Lexus facility follows factory procedures, performs a multi-point inspection, and documents service for your records. That supports long-term reliability and helps preserve warranty protections.

• OEM-spec synthetic oil and Lexus-quality filter
• Documented multi-point inspection and fluid top-offs
• Service history maintained for warranty support

Full synthetic offers the highest thermal stability and protection, which is why the ES 350 specifies 0W‑20 synthetic oil.

Conventional oil is budget-friendly but breaks down faster under heat. Synthetic blends improve stability, while full synthetic provides the best resistance to oxidation and viscosity loss—beneficial for Texas heat and stop‑and‑go traffic.

• ES 350 spec: full synthetic 0W‑20
• Better high-temp protection vs. conventional
• Supports longer OEM service intervals
