What the service covers on the 2015 Lexus RC FAn oil change for the 2015 Lexus RC F begins with draining the existing engine oil and refilling it with the grade and capacity specified by the manufacturer. A new oil filter is installed to help capture contaminants, while the oil life monitor is reset so the vehicle can accurately track service status. The visit also includes a check of the underhood fluid levels.

Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even before it looks dirty. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage past the last service, oil on the dipstick that looks dark or low, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup.
