What the service covers on the 2013 Lexus IS 350An oil change for the 2013 Lexus IS 350 begins with draining the used engine oil and refilling the engine with the oil grade the manufacturer specifies. The service also includes a new oil filter, which helps capture contaminants as oil circulates through the engine. The oil life monitor is reset so the vehicle can properly track the next maintenance reminder, and underhood fluid levels receive a check during the visit.

Engine oil loses part of its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris long before it necessarily looks dirty. For that reason, appearance alone should not determine when service is needed. Drivers may notice an oil-change reminder light, mileage past the last service, oil on the dipstick that looks dark or low, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup. Park Place Lexus Grapevine invites owners to schedule service for the 2013 Lexus IS 350.
